Ken Johnson

Pastor Ken grew up in the Detroit area, and graduated from the University of Michigan. He attended Seminary in Chicago, with additional study in Sweden. He was ordained in the Church of Sweden, and served there for several years. Upon returning to the U.S., he served 2 congregations in the Detroit area before coming to Kalamazoo in 1998.

Pastor Ken is married to Mary, and they have 3 children. They love living in Kalamazoo. He likes to travel, read, kayak, hiking, long walks, the outdoors, medieval mysteries, various pets (A newfie and a golden right now). His favorite bible verses include John 3:16, Micah 6:8, and 1 Tim. 1:12.

Jake Lehman

Associate Pastor

Pastor Jake grew up in the small town of Ada in Northwest Ohio. He graduated from Ohio University in beautiful Athens, OH and spent the next year in Marseille, France on an internship with Campus Crusade for Christ. He then worked as a Youth Minister and Worship Leader at a Lutheran Church near Columbus, OH. He is a graduate of Trinity Lutheran Seminary in Columbus.

Pastor Jake is married to Melissa and they have one daughter, Clare. They enjoy traveling, eating good food, and playing music together. Jake enjoys most sports, running, the outdoors, good movies, and celebrating his Celtic and German heritages. Some of his favorite scripture verses are Philippians 2:1-11, Romans 5:1-2, and 1 Samuel 16:7
