 Welcome to the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church website. We are a diverse congregation located in the downtown area near the Western Michigan University campus. A look around the sanctuary on Sunday reveals young couples with their children, older couples enjoying their retirement, and college students. Our worship service itself is traditional and easy to follow. We are also service oriented, with many service organizations and projects to choose from. |

Calling all College students We’d like to welcome all our college students to town with a meal! On Sept. 26th after the 11:00 service stick around for lunch with the pastors and some conversation about how Trinity can best serve you during your time in Kalamazoo. Bike to the Beach! What better way to get to know one another while getting some exercise than a bike trip to South Haven! ± More Information Young Adult Opportunities Young Adult Potluck (eat and be social), and Young Adult 'Phorum' (Bible study). ± More Information Wednesdays at Westnedge Are you a Sr. High student looking for a midweek break and a chance to meet with friends and make new ones while exploring your relationship with God? Come on out for Wednesdays at Westnedge! We’ll be hanging out in the youth room each Wednesday starting Wednesday Sept. 15 from 7-8 for some fun, games, and discussion. Associate Pastor Installation Jake L. will be installed as the Associate Pastor of Trinity on September 5th. A luncheon will follow.  In an August 2002 article of the church newsletter, Pastor Ken Johnson described how the youth, and in turn the entire congregation, at Trinity is like a family: "When I am with the youth, I can readily see an open and easy banter and joy of being together. But I also find that in just about every worship setting, meeting, social gathering, etc. that I have been to in my years at Trinity. We are a family in Christ." |
